As my baby is getting ready to turn ONE, I found this photo of him sleeping soundly in his swaddle at EIGHT MONTHS OLD! Swaddles are truly miraculous - the answer to all sleeping woes. Babies love to be all snug as bugs. He is a big boy, and still fit into our swaddle blankets at 8 months! This one is called O'Henry Swaddle Baby Blanket - Blue Green Clusters.
And because I'm feeling all warm and snugly thinking about my swaddled baby, I'll give one of these swaddle blankets away! You can even choose the print. Respond to this post before Saturday night at midnight (Pacific time) and I'll draw one of you at random. If you subscribe, post that and I'll give you another entry. If you post this in your blog, post your address and I'll give you ANOTHER entry!
AWWW, So cute! I can't believe I will have a baby boy to fill up a swaddle blanket in a few months:) I will repost this to twitter and facebook Pearly Grey page :) Jen @ Pearly Grey
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I'll five it to one of my preggie friends if I win!
ReplyDeleteAnd by "five" I mean give. Damn the typing in the dark! :-)
ReplyDeleteAfter twins, one with colic and one without, I finally found out about swaddling three years later! And now with a 8 week old who is 15 lbs and growing like a weed I was glad to be turned onto your site today. There just aren't many blankets that stay tight when your baby gets bigger. And I am a true BELIEVER in swaddling after I watched his colic disappear when I started swaddling him. -Tori
ReplyDeletei love o'henry... and a new baby on the way needs a new swaddle... hope to see you soon... liatt (down the street)
ReplyDeleteHA! Mary, i thought you were speaking in some cool slang that i didn't know. good thing i didn't try it out for myself: "hey, I'll five that to you!"
ReplyDeleteAnd Tori - i KNOW swaddling is the absolute answer. I need to put more up here about it. My son finally quit wanting his swaddle at 9 months old! He loved it so much, he didn't even struggle out of it until after he was asleep. Please post how to get ahold of you in case you win!
Actually, that COULD be a cool slang! Tori's a friend of mine. I'll tell her she didn't leave a way for you to reach her but just in case, let me know if she wins and I'll tell her. She has a brand new one and 3-year old twins! :-)
